Central Apartments and Hotels
Central Apartments became the first Australian serviced apartment chain soon after.
Under the banner of our Central Apartments and Rent Central portfolios, Pradella are proud to have held the management rights for many iconic community title schemes, the majority of which were built and developed by the family owned business.
Domination of the inner Brisbane apartment industry during the 1980/90’s saw the creation of Paradise Island at Surfers Paradise and the construction and management of Hillcrest – the official hotel of World Expo 88.
Pradella’s acquisition of the Bardon Conference Centre in 1993 allowed the business to expand further into the conference market. The unique complex, integrated within the Brisbane State Forest environment, hosted over 1 million conference and wedding attendees before it was transformed into a multi-faceted residential complex by Pradella.
South East Queensland and Beyond
Eventually expanding into Victoria and New Zealand, Central Apartments and Hotels is proud to have managed many well known developments including Skylounge Melbourne, Dockside Hotel Brisbane, Emporium Fortitude Valley and the quintessential Roma Street Parklands Residential Complex.
